From consulting to world-class software
In a cosy corner of a coffee shop in the heart of Helsinki, three friends from the University of Lappeenranta, Finland who were pursuing their PhDs (or already had one) in engineering embarked on a journey. Fueled by their shared determination and a desire to make a meaningful impact, they founded SimAnalytics in 2013.
SimAnalytics was from the start a consulting firm, but during a gig, an idea came to life that was about to change everything. The consultants envisioned a new way of understanding and modelling the intricate dance of processes within manufacturing—a method that would be able to take into account every connection along a production line. They leveraged their expertise and unwavering curiosity, and the concept of harmony modelling was born.
This unique approach to unravelling the interdependencies of factory processes evolved into our software product, Factory Harmonizer.
As of February 2023, we are a member of the Kemira family.
