From consulting to world-class software

In a cosy corner of a coffee shop in the heart of Helsinki, three friends from the University of Lappeenranta, Finland who were pursuing their PhDs in engineering embarked on a journey. Fueled by their shared determination and a desire to make a meaningful impact, they founded SimAnalytics in 2013. Little did they know that their humble beginnings would pave the way for groundbreaking advancements in the manufacturing industry. 

SimAnalytics was from the start a consulting firm, but during a gig, an idea came to life that was about to change everything. The consultants envisioned a new way of understanding and modeling the intricate dance of processes within manufacturing—a method that would be able to take into account every connection along a production line. They leveraged their expertise and unwavering curiosity, and the concept of harmony modeling was born. 

This unique approach to unravelling the interdependencies of factory processes evolved into our software product, Factory Harmonizer. With this innovative technology, SimAnalytics transitioned from a consulting firm to a software company, forging new paths in process optimization. 

As of February 2023, we are a member of the Kemira family. Kemira is a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water-intensive industries. This strategic partnership amplifies our impact and propels us to new heights, expanding our reach and creating greater value for our clients.
